Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2014 Nashville Ultra Marathon.  Next year's race will take place Saturday, November 7th, 2015.  Online registration will open 12-13-14.

PACKET PICK UP

Packet Pick up will take place from 3:00 – 6:00 pm Central Time on Friday, Oct 31st at the Start Line – Wave Country Parking Lot. See Travel Info page for directions. If you can't make it Friday night, you can also pick up your packet Saturday morning 5:30 – 6:30 am.

START INFORMATION

The Race will start promptly at 7:00 am from the Wave Country Parking Lot. An optional 5:00 am start will be held for 50 mile runners that don't think they can finish within the 12 hour cut off.

FINISH INFORMATION

The race consists of various loops with the finish at the same location as the start line.

AID STATIONS

  • 50K – mile 5, 12, 17, 23.5, 24.5
  • 60K – mile 5, 12, 17, 23.5, 27, 30.5
  • 70K – mile 5, 12, 17, 23.5, 27, 30, 33, 36.5
  • 50 Mile – mile 5, 12, 17, 23.5, 27, 30, 37, 40, 43.5

In addition to these aid stations, there will be a few spots between aid stations with jugs of water and cups.


What will be served at the Aid Stations?
Water, sports drink, soda, energy bars, fruit, sweets, salty treats, band aids, vaseline.

PERKS

All participants will receive a Nashville Ultra Marathon T-Shirt
Finishers will receive a Finishers Mug – glass mug with race logo and race date
Winners Prize – male and female winner for each distance will receive a Nashville Ultra Marathon hooded sweatshirt.

CHANGING DISTANCE

One very unique aspect of our race is the ability to change distance mid race! If you signed up for the 50 miler and just don't feel your best, drop down to one of the lower distances. And if you signed up for the 50K and feel like a million bucks, just keep going! All you have to do is let the volunteer at the turn point that you are dropping down or jumping up.

DROP BAGS

There will be bins at the start line for depositing drop bags. Bins will be marked by aid station number. Once the race starts, the drop bags will be delivered to the appropriate aid station. Drop bags must be marked on the outside with your full name. If you will have liquids in your drop bag, they MUST be in a ziplock bag or other bag that will not leak.. Each aid station will also contain a bin marked "Done". Once you are ready for your drop bag to go back to the finish line, place it in the "Done" bin. Drop bags will be returned to the Finish Line throughout the day. Please be patient as this process sometimes takes time.

CREW

Personal Handlers are allowed at most points along the course. However, motor vehicles are not allowed on any portion of the greenway trails. There are easy access points along each trail and some of the route actually runs on bike trails along open roads. See the Crew Info page for more details.

PACERS AND/OR COMPANIONS

Pacers and/or companions are allowed along the entire course. Please be respectful of other runners.
